Relaxed Booking Conditions

As we understand that there may be uncertainties around your holiday plans in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the below booking conditions will help you book with confidence:

• If your holiday needs to be postponed due to restrictions in the UK (a Force Majeure situation) then there will be options for you. These include deferring to another date over the next 2 years. All monies paid remain secure in credit for the re-arranged trip.
• If you are unable to travel to the start of the trip due to travel restrictions but we can provide the holiday, you can defer to another date over the next 2 years. If you do not prefer this, then our normal cancellation terms apply. Depending on the type of travel insurance you have, you may be covered for cancellation of your holiday on these grounds.
• All monies paid are protected as they remain secure in credit, both for a booked or re-arranged trip. This means that if you are at some point entitled to a refund this is guaranteed.

Please note that we act on the advice and instructions issued by the UK government. If you are travelling from overseas and your own government issues different advice or instructions then please contact us to discuss options (incl. cancellation under our usual terms or deferral).

Changing your booking to a later date

If you give sufficient notice (minimum 8 weeks before the start of your trip) you can defer your booking to another date. For trips moved to later in 2022 and 2023 there may be an adjustment figure to cover any subsequent price increases and our usual administration fee of £50 per person.

Concerned about travelling due to underlying health issues

We recommend that you discuss your travel plans with your doctor. If, in their opinion, you should not travel, you should contact your travel insurers. Depending on the type of travel insurance you have, you may be covered for cancellation of your holiday on medical grounds.

Covid-19 Safety Measures on Your UK Cycling Holiday

We have been working hard putting together operational protocols in preparation of welcoming you for your holiday in light of the current Covid-19 situation that we all face. We are taking  steps to ensure that you have a worry-free holiday with us and we are pleased to have obtained the below accreditations:

• Safe Travels accreditation from the World Travel & Tourism Council
• We’re Good To Go industry accreditation in partnership with the Tourist Organisations of Great Britain & Northern Ireland

Insurance

We ask you to arrange appropriate travel insurance to make sure that you will be financially covered for cancelling your trip due to Covid-19 – whether prior or during your trip.

By buying proper insurance, you help ensuring that both us at UK Bike Tours and the local communities that we work with are impacted as little as possible by your cancellation. It will benefit our endurance and prospect to build back when travel returns to its fullest.
